Qigong & Meditation at
La Luna Wellness Studio
Beginning February 1st, join Dr. Jillann Morlan Brown, DACM, LAc, for a twice-monthly hour of grounding movement, breath, and meditation aligned with the rhythm of the seasons.

Each gathering is shaped by the current solar term — one of the 24 micro-seasons marked by the relationship between sun and earth, mirroring the movement of qi through nature and through us.

During each session, you’ll experience:

Seasonal Teachings: An introduction to the energetics of the current solar term through the lens of Chinese medicine and Daoist theory and practice. Gain insight into what this seasonal moment asks of us and how to align with it.

Practice: A guided Qigong sequence to support circulation, grounding, and self-cultivation for the weeks ahead.

Stillness: A closing meditation or quiet practice to settle the system including seated meditation, breathwork, or yin-inspired postures.

Together, we will:

• Open the body through gentle movement
• Settle the mind with breath and meditation
• Build capacity slowly, one practice at a time
• Create space to listen inward before the week unfolds

About Qigong

Qigong is a gentle movement practice that cultivates and circulates qi, or life force, helping us connect with the breath, build vitality, and ground in the present moment.
Rooted in classical medicine and martial traditions, Qigong is viewed as a form of inner alchemy: refining energy from the inside out. Rather than building force externally, it strengthens the internal systems — supporting resilience, clarity, and long-term health.
